A woman has been arrested by the FBI and charged with stealing tens of millions of sensitive customer records from Capital One, the Washington Post reported on Monday.

The suspect, Paige A. Thompson, was charged with computer fraud and abuse, according to the Post, which cited court records.

Capital One said about 140,000 Social Security numbers of its customers and around 80,000 linked bank account numbers were compromised. The bank said in a news release its analysis indicated that, in total, “this event affected approximately 100 million individuals in the United States and approximately 6 million in Canada.”
