Coronavirus infections and hospitalizations in the U.S. continue to breaking records. According to the COVID Tracking Project, there are more than 101,000 patients nationwide who are hospitalized with COVID-19. Carl Zimmer, New York Times “Matter” columnist, joins CBSN’s “Red & Blue” anchor Elaine Quijano to discuss what’s causing the current surge and plans for a potential vaccine rollout.
