Grains higher, livestock higher

Grain futures were higher Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Dec. delivery was up 1.20 cents at $4.3120 a bushel; Dec corn up 1.60 cents 3.5020 a bushel; December oats unchanged at $2.6760 a bushel while Nov. soybeans was 1.60 cents higher at $9.86 a bushel.

Beef higher and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle was up .23 cent at $1.1170 a pound; October feeder cattle was up .45 cent at $1.5298 a pound; October lean hogs was up .28 cent at $.6403 a pound.
