Supreme Court denies request to fast-track Trump immunity claim – CBS News

The U.S. Supreme Court on Friday denied a request from special counsel Jack Smith to fast-track the immunity claim in the federal case charging former President Donald Trump with attempting to overturn the results of the 2020 election. Instead, the case will now go to the U.S. Court of Appeals in January. Robert Costa has details.
