President Trump threatens to deploy military if local officials don’t take action against violence

President Trump called himself “the president of law and order” and threatened to deploy the military if local officials don’t take further action against violence during protests. But as he spoke, military police and other law enforcement officials used tear gas and pepper spray to clear out peaceful protesters just a few blocks away. Weijia Jiang reports.
