This year, National Small Business Week is being held May 5-11; information about the events is available on the SBA website at www.sba.gov/national-small-business-week . Among the events is a free two-day online conference on Tuesday, May 7 and Wednesday, May 8 that will include online seminars and networking.

Local events might be held during National Small Business Week, or they might be scheduled at other times; some areas observe Small Business Month. In some places, the events are purely social, while in others, they’re educational.
