NASA sets tentative launch date for Artemis I moon mission – CBS News

Fifty-three years to the day of the first moon landing, NASA announced tentative plans for its next moon mission, Artemis I. The agency plans to launch its 30-story-tall Space Launch System rocket on Aug. 29th. The unmanned test flight will last anywhere from four to six weeks. Space consultant Bill Harwood walks us through the program’s ambitious goals.
