DHS watchdog report finds issues with vetting of Afghan evacuees – CBS News

The Department of Homeland Security lacked “critical data to properly screen, vet and inspect” Afghan evacuees after the Taliban takeover in August 2021, according to a report issued by the department’s inspector general and obtained by CBS News.
