Former President Donald Trump will win the 2024 New Hampshire GOP primary, ABC News projects. While the result is no surprise, what remains to be seen is how large the margin of victory will be. Former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley has staked her campaign on a strong performance in the Granite State, and while a loss is a big hit to her prospects, she spoke shortly after the projection to emphasize that “this race is far from over.”
ABC News has also projected that President Joe Biden will win the Granite State’s Democratic primary. That margin of victory, too, could be interesting, as Biden was not on the ballot in the state due to its violation of his party’s new primary calendar rules — he’ll win as a write-in candidate.
