Consumer Confidence Slips in June, Signals Economic Concerns

Consumer confidence dropped in June. The Conference Board’s report released today showed a decline to 100.4, down from 101.3 in May. Meanwhile, the Expectations Index also decreased to 73, compared to 79.4 last month. An index lower than 80 historically signals an impending recession. Mindy McIntosh, Founder & CEO of McIntosh & Associates, joins Alicia Summers to discuss these latest numbers.
