PARIS (Reuters) – U.S. President Donald Trump held discussions with his Turkish counterpart Tayyip Erdogan over how to respond to last month’s killing of Saudi dissident Jamal Khashoggi, a White House official said on Sunday.

The conversation took place during a Saturday dinner with heads of state gathered in Paris to mark the World War One Armistice centenary, during which Trump was also seated close to French President Emmanuel Macron and Germany’s Angela Merkel, the official said.
