The U.S. Supreme Court rejected special counsel Jack Smith’s request to immediately decide if former president Donald Trump should receive immunity for his alleged attempt to overturn the 2020 presidential election before the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol. It’s a win for Trump and a setback for Smith. CBS News’ Willie James Inman is in Washington, D.C. with more.
