San Francisco is the ‘hardest working’ city in America: study

A new study from personal finance website WalletHub says San Francisco is the hardest-working city in America. The study looked at the 116 most- populated cities in the U.S. and evaluated them on nine metrics including average work week, employment rate and share of workers leaving vacation time unused.  Also in the top 5: Fremont, California; Jersey City, New Jersey; Washington, D.C.; and New York City.

A warning for pet owners: The TruPet brand has recalled its Treat Me Crunchy Beef Delight treats after salmonella was found in a sample.  And Northwest Naturals is recalling its 5-pound bags of frozen Chicken and Salmon Recipe after a sample tested positive for listeria. So far no dogs have got sick. Consumers may return either product to where it was purchased from for full refund.
