Russia says detains organizer of St. Petersburg supermarket blast: agencies

MOSCOW (Reuters) – Russia’s FSB security service said on Saturday that the individual who organized and carried out a bombing that injured 13 people in a St. Petersburg supermarket this week had been detained, Russian news agencies reported.

The Islamic State militant group claimed responsibility for the blast, which took place on Wednesday in a St. Petersburg branch of the Perekrestok supermarket chain.
