Norway’s wealth fund appoints Karsten Kallevig as chief investment officer real estate

OSLO (Reuters) – Karsten Kallevig will join the leader group of the Norwegian sovereign wealth fund as its investment officer real estate with effect from 1 April, Norway’s central bank said on Tuesday.

Kallevig comes from the position as chief executive officer (CEO) of Norges Bank Real Estate Management (NBREM), which was recently reintegrated in the main fund.

Nina Hammerstad was appointed Chief People and Operations Officer from 1 June, replacing Sirine Fodstad, who will take a job of a new CEO for the holding company in the Grieg Group, Grieg Maturitas, it added.
