The Justice Department announced scathing findings from a two-year investigation of the Minneapolis Police Department, launched in the wake of George Floyd’s murder. The report found a pattern of excessive force and discrimination in the department. Kirk Burkhalter, professor at New York Law School and director of 21st Century Policing Project, joined CBS News to talk about what will happen to MPD now.
