President Joe Biden invited more than 100 countries to participate in a two-day virtual summit for democracy that starts Thursday. The event follows the president’s high-stakes call with Russian President Vladimir Putin earlier this week, which he is expected to discuss with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and NATO leaders.
