As another week sees a staggering number of Americans apply for unemployment benefits, President Trump says it’s too soon to predict when the U.S. economy might be able to start recovering from the coronavirus crisis. America’s COVID-19 death toll is racing toward 15,000, catching up fast to Italy for the world’s deadliest outbreak.
