Parkland school shooter sentenced to life in prison without parole – CBS News

The Parkland school shooter was formally sentenced Wednesday to life in prison without parole after victims’ families got a chance to speak at his sentencing hearing. A Florida jury had voted to spare Nikolas Cruz from the death penalty. CBS News correspondent Manuel Bojorquez joined Weijia Jiang from Fort Lauderdale to discuss the breaking news.
