A coronavirus relief agreement in Congress remained in doubt early Friday, just as extended unemployment benefits are set to end and new economic data showed a U.S. economy buckling under the pandemic’s weight. Meanwhile, President Donald Trump is continuing his push for schools to reopen, adding that keeping schools closed “is causing death also.”

The following data was compiled by Johns Hopkins University:

  • Global cases: More than 17.3 million
  • Global deaths: At least 673,822
  • U.S. cases: More than 4.4 million
  • U.S. deaths: At least 152,075
