Furious anti-Israel rioters in Washington, D.C., tore down American flags flying outside of Union Station and began publicly lighting them on fire, however, police managed to recover some of the U.S. flags.
Nonetheless, the pro-Palestine protesters and rioters then began hoisting Palestinian flags up on the poles once the officers retreated.
The agitators ended up leaving their mark at the D.C. railroad station, which is just blocks from where Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu (Bibi) delivered his address to Congress.
The rioters continued to scream out chants of “Free Palestine,” while vandalizing a number of monuments. Additionally, many of them wrote “Free Gaza” on the ground and on nearby structures while others continued to climb flag poles and wave Palestinian flags.
A paper mache creation that depicted Netanyahu was lit on fire outside the train station as well, as protesters cursed at law enforcement standing by.
“You guys are men, don’t act like a woman,” one rioter was filmed saying to security.
An unnamed good Samaritan nearby was seen on video trying to save one of the burning U.S. flags, but he was chased down by the pro-Palestine rioters yelling “Get him!” before he managed to get away from the unruly crowd.
In another instance, protesters were seen yelling “Allahu akbar” and “f**k the United States” while spraying lighter fluid onto an American flag.
The organizers of the protest and riot included groups such as Answer Coalition and Code Pink. There were also numerous speakers with megaphones from other organizations as well, including one from the Party for Socialism and Liberation.
