In a story March 22, The Associated Press reported that industrial toxins, petroleum-related toxins and air toxins were released during Hurricane Harvey and its aftermath. The story should have referred to toxic substances, which can be poisonous depending on the level of exposure, not toxins, which are poisonous substances produced by living organisms.
