Biden speaks in Georgia after surveying Helene damage – CBS News

President Biden spoke in Ray City, Georgia, Thursday afternoon after surveying damage from Hurricane Helene in both the Peach State and Florida. Mr. Biden stressed there are no Democrats and Republicans in situations like this and promised to be there until things are restored. The president also spoke of how he ordered resources to be put in place before Helene’s landfall and vowed to help the Southeast get back on its feet.
