Car companies hope this summer’s strong auto sales will roll right into fall. August saw the best numbers for a single month in more than a decade. Automakers sold nearly 18 million new cars and trucks at a seasonally adjusted annual rate. The new issue of CNET magazine looks at the future of car technology.
