U.S. to lift Omicron-related travel restrictions on eight African countries – CBS News

It’s been nearly one month since the emergence of the Omicron variant of COVID-19 prompted the Biden administration to restrict travel from eight countries in southern Africa. On Friday, the White House said it will be lifting those restrictions December 31. Christina Ruffini has the latest.
