Police said Friday they were responding to reports of a shooting at a school in southwest Houston. They later said one suspect was in custody and they were looking for any other possible suspects.

The scene was still active midday Friday and law enforcement was working to secure the location, according to authorities.

Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez urged parents not to go to the school and instead directed them to a staging area, where police said students would be arriving.

Authorities didn’t name the school but identified the location as 4400 Anderson Road at Hiram Clarke. CBS Houston affiliate KHOU reported the school is Yes Prep school.
