Kamala Harris has made a cameo appearance on the charity season of reality competition show, RuPaul’s Drag Race.

In a clip released on Thursday, Harris is seated around regular and guest judges for the show. There are LGBT celebrities surrounding the vice president as well.

In the video, Harris encouraged viewers to vote.

“We are all in this together, and your vote is your power,” she says. “So please make sure your voice is heard this November and register to vote at vote.gov.”

The video has stirred up some controversy. Users online have called it “cringe” and claims it shows where Harris’s true loyalties are.

However, the vice president isn’t the first politician to appear on RuPaul’s Drag Race. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) made two appearances in 2018 and 2022. Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) was a guest judge in 2020.
