Hamas said Monday it had accepted a proposed cease-fire deal with Israel presented by Egypt and Qatar. Earlier in the day, President Biden spoke to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about efforts to secure a hostage deal and had lunch with King Abdullah of Jordan.
