Haley (R-S.C.) stated that Trump had asked her to speak at the event in Milwaukee in the name of “unity.”

“I’ll start by making one thing perfectly clear: Donald Trump has my strong endorsement, period,” said Haley. “For the sake of our nation, we have to go with Donald Trump.”

Although Haley had already declared in May that she would support Trump in the 2024 election, her RNC speech on Tuesday reiterated this and made it clear that she had no hard feelings for falling short of the GOP nomination.

In the speech, she also told supporters of hers who might be on the fence: “You don’t have to agree with Trump 100% of the time to vote for him—take it from me.”

As Haley spoke, cameras panned to Trump, showing him standing up to applaud her as she reiterated her support.

Meanwhile, former presidential candidates Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.) and Vivek Ramaswamy also spoke at the RNC and similarly expressed full support for Trump’s candidacy.
