Gas prices spiking nationwide, high temperatures seen as factor – CBS News

The average price of a gallon of gas nationwide is up to $3.83 according to AAA, over 30 cents more than a month ago. Saudi Arabia’s efforts to curb oil production and the summer’s record-breaking heat are being pointed to as factors for the high prices.
