President Trump reiterated threats against Iran during a meeting with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis at the White House Tuesday.
Tensions with Iran remain sky-high after the death of Iranian military commander Qassem Soleimani, as the U.S. waits for Iran to retaliate. Mr. Trump, who over the weekend threatened cultural sites in Iran, did not back down from that threat on Tuesday.
The president said the administration “did ourselves and a lot of countries a big favor” by striking Soleimani. Mr. Trump said “it’s the worst thing that could happen to Iraq” for the U.S. to pull out of the country now.
