President Biden to sign executive order on prescription drug costs – CBS News

President Biden will speak about how the Inflation Reduction Act will lower prescription costs for seniors, at an appearance in Southern California on Friday. He’s also set to sign an executive order directing the Department of Health and Human Services to look at ways to combat high drug prices. CBS News senior White House correspondent Weijia Jiang joins us to discuss the president’s attempts to combat inflation.
