An Iowa grandmother was revealed Monday morning as one of the two winners of a massive Powerball jackpot. Lerynne West of Redfield, Iowa, told reporters she’s taking the $198.1 million lump-sum option of last month’s $688 million jackpot.
West, 51, said she was using some of her winnings to start the Callum Foundation in honor of her late grandson. He was born prematurely at 24 weeks in April and lived for one day, West said.
