President Donald Trump called out Amazon’s founder Jeff Bezos for reporting fake news in the Washington Post in his latest tweet. White House Legislative Affairs Director Marc Short says the president is making a fair case.

President Trump’s latest Amazon Twitter bashing on Thursday called out Washington Post owner and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos for reporting fake bias news.

While the attacks are not personal, White House Legislative Affairs Director Marc Short tells FOX Business the president is making a fair case.

“This president is looking to make sure we are protecting intellectual property of the United States,” Short said to Stuart Varney on “Varney & Co.” “I think that the Washington Post certainly has an agenda and they’ve been pretty bias in pursuing that agenda for quite some time.”

This is the fifth attack on Amazon by President Trump in a week.

Amazon shares were up more than 2% on Thursday.
