Reddit and global news websites including Insider and The Verge are experiencing an outage, with some users unable to access the sites.
The outage was also affecting the Financial Times, Bloomberg and The New York Times among others.
Some visitors to the websites in both the U.K. and U.S. received the error message: “Error 503 Service Unavailable.”
