Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin is no longer in intensive care and is “recovering well” at the Walter Reed Medical Center, the Pentagon said Monday. The statement comes as a White House official tells CBS News that President Biden is not considering firing Austin after he failed to disclose the hospital visit to the administration.
