A South Carolina deputy shot a 70-year-old man during a traffic stop after mistaking his cane for a shotgun during a nighttime traffic stop, dashcam video shows. Deputy Terrance Knox has been placed on paid administrative leave until an investigation is complete. The driver, Bobby Canipe, is in a stable condition.
