It’s been 43 years since the first proclamation of an AAPI heritage celebration in the U.S. Grace Pai, executive director of Asian Americans Advancing Justice in Chicago, joined CBS News to talk about the history of AAPI Heritage Month and efforts to expand the teaching of Asian American history.
