Sen. Mitch McConnell called Tuesday a “very good day,” after Republicans managed to hold on to and expand their majority in the Senate, despite losing control of the House to Democrats.
“It is indeed a good morning for Senate Republicans,” McConnell told reporters at the Capitol Wednesday morning.
