McCarthy pins impending government shutdown on Biden immigration policies – CBS News

In a gaggle with reporters Tuesday, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy tried to absolve himself and the House of responsibility for an impending government shutdown. He put the onus on President Biden and said border security would need to be a part of any short-term spending solution. CBS News congressional correspondent Nikole Killion led the questioning of McCarthy.
