EV battery manufacturing boom brings jobs, investment to “battery belt” – CBS News

In the past three years, more than $90 billion in battery investments have been announced in the U.S., creating an estimated 70,000 manufacturing jobs, much of it in a stretch from Michigan to Georgia being called the “battery belt.” Ben Tracy has more.
