As Angelenos reel with this apocalyptic nightmare, there are reports that thousands of Los Angeles homeowners were dropped by their insurance companies, forcing them into the state’s FAIR Access to Insurance Requirement plan, basic coverage in high-risk areas. One America’s Stella Escobedo spoke to Bill Wells, the mayor of El Cajon, who blames the state’s one-party rule for the problem.
