Iran agrees to release five American prisoners in exchange for frozen funds – CBS News

President Biden approved a deal to free five Americans held by Iran in exchange for billions in blocked funds. Four Americans were moved from Tehran’s notorious Evin Prison and placed under house arrest, and a fifth American who was already under house arrest is also part of the deal.
