U.S. bans investments in Chinese military-linked firms

President Trump on Thursday signed an executive order barring Americans from investing in a group of companies the White House says supports China’s military. The order applies to 31 different firms, and is set to go into effect on January 11th. Isaac Stone Fish, a CBSN contributor and senior fellow at the Asia Society’s Center on U.S.-China Relations, joined CBSN’s Lana Zak to discuss.
