President Trump said he has a “very good relationship” with Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, and will talk with the DOJ’s second-in-charge on the way to Orlando. The president is delivering remarks to the International Association of Chiefs of Police Annual Convention Monday, as the White House continues to hail the successful confirmation of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.

Upon returning to Washington, Mr. Trump will later swear in Kavanaugh at a ceremony at the White House. Hours after he was confirmed by the Senate, Kavanaugh was officially sworn in by Chief Justice John Roberts in a private ceremony with his family at the Supreme Court.

Weeks after the New York Times reported that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein had suggested wiretapping the president and invoking the 25th Amendment — which Rosenstein denied — he is traveling with the president to Florida for the law enforcement address.
