Bolton to Iran: “We are watching and we will come after you”

Mr. Trump’s National Security Adviser John Bolton issued stern warnings to Iran in a speech at the UN on Tuesday, slamming the Iran nuclear deal as the “worst diplomatic debacle in history.”

He said the deal was rife with “weasel words” and “inconsistent.” The 2015 agreement was based on a flat lie, Bolton said, “the illusion that the Iranian regime never desired a nuclear weapon.”

The regime, Bolton said, poses a multi-threat and warned that the U.S would “not tolerate” investments into the Iranian petroleum, saying “we expect purchasers of Iranian oil to reduce purchases to zero… or face consequences and sanctions. He also issued a warning to those that continue to do business with Iran, namely the European Union.

“We do not intend to allow our sanctions to be evaded by Europe or anybody else,” said Bolton. After November 4th, Mr. Trump will explore additional sanctions beyond the JCPOA sanctions, furthering the administration’s ‘maximum pressure campaign.”

Bolton assured, “this administration will use every tool in its power to protect the U.S….and its people; we will not be duped cheated or intimidated again.”
