Police officers injured in Alexandria shooting praised for heroism – CBS News

Capitol Police officers were assigned to protect Rep. Steve Scalise because he is the No. 3 Republican in the House. Two of the officers on his detail, Crystal Griner and David Bailey, charged onto the baseball field Wednesday morning, exchanging fire with the shooter and likely saving many lives. Chip Reid has more.
