Portland Trail Blazers guard CJ McCollum agreed to a three-year contract extension Tuesday, the team announced.

The value of the extension is $100 million, according to multiple reports. It increases the 27-year-old’s current deal to five years and $157 million (through 2023-24).

“CJ McCollum is a franchise cornerstone and a critical part of our future,” said Trail Blazers president of basketball operations Neil Olshey in a team release. “This extension represents a strong level of commitment between CJ, the Trail Blazers and the city of Portland.”

Portland’s first-round pick (10th overall) in 2013, McCollum has averaged better than 20 points per game in each of the past four seasons.

–The Philadelphia 76ers signed free agent point guard Trey Burke. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but it was previously reported as a one-year deal for the veteran’s minimum.

Burke, 26, split last season with the New York Knicks and Dallas Mavericks, averaging 10.9 points and 2.7 assists in 58 games.

Burke was drafted ninth overall by the Minnesota Timberwolves out of Michigan in 2013, and his draft rights were traded to the Utah Jazz. He has averaged 10.9 points, 3.6 assists and 2.1 rebounds in 361 career games (128 starts) with the Jazz, Washington Wizards, Knicks and Mavericks.

–With the Golden State Warriors moving from Oracle Arena in Oakland to the Chase Center in San Francisco to open the 2019-20 season, the beginning of a new era will also include a new look.

The new uniforms were reportedly leaked on the Warriors Reddit page. Fan screenshots were grabbed before the links were taken down.

The updated front of the Warriors uniform is still classic blue, and other versions include “The Bay” gold uniform, “The Town” black uniform and “The City” gold uniform. Versions of “The Town” and “The City” editions have each been used previously. A possible white optional uniform would include a similar update to the blue uniform, according to Reddit.
