Grain mostly higher,livestock lower

Wheat for Dec. was up 8 cents at 4.26 a bushel; Dec. corn rose 2.25 cents at 3.5050 bushel; Dec. oats was off 7 cents at $2.6450 bushel; while Nov. soybeans gained 8 cents at $9.89 a bushel.

Beef and pork were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange October live cattle was off 2.28 cents at $1.2432 a pound; Oct. feeder cattle fell 1.78 cents at $1.5792 a pound; while Dec. lean hogs lost .80 cent at $.6580 a pound.
