There is a promising new experimental drug available for those with Alzheimer’s, made by Eli Lilly. The company reports that in a late-stage trial, it slowed the progression of the disease by 35%. The Alzheimer’s Association predicts that the number of Americans living with Alzheimer’s will increase from over 6 million now to almost 13 million by 2050.
